Signature Rules
DFArena sig rules are as follows:
The maximum size for your signature is (350x125x30Kb)
350 pixels in width and 125 pixels in height and no more than 30Kb in weight.
You may display more than one image providing they do not exceed
these limits. For example: When displaying two images, the combined width
can not exceed 350 pixels, the combined height can not exceed
125 pixels and the combined weight can not exceed 30Kb in size.
Your sig can not contain profanity, pornography, vulgarity, racism,
or anything that may be offensive to another member.
Measuring an image
Because of the difference in graphics programs. All images will be measured
the same way. This will be done by using the forum properties. To view or
check the size of your sig, just right click on it and select properties.
Getting your sig to show
To show your sig in the forums it must first be "hosted" somewhere online.
(One of the sigmods will be happy to upload your sig to the DFA server
and give you the url or you may want to host your own.
If you would like to host your own, we suggest you save a copy for
"safe keeping" and use your own host at a free sig hosting site.
Some good links to some simple and free sig hosting sites are provided below.)
After your sig is hosted somewhere simply go to your profile and click on
"update profile".
In the signature box type this----
---- [img]yoursigaddress[/img] ----
Leave no spaces and voila! Your new sig will show up the next time you post.

Avatar Rules
DFArena avatar rules are as follows:
The maximum size for an avatar is
(64x64x20Kb) 64 pixels in height
by 64 pixels in length and
no more than 20Kb in weight.
The same forum rules
reguarding profanity and obscenity
apply to all images.
Showing an avatar
If you would like to display an avatar,
simply go to your profile
and click on "edit options"
and chose one from the list. or
You may upload your own image
in the same area. (You can make your own
image by hand or aquire an image and
size it to the correct proportions.
There are also many avatar sites online.
Just search for avatars
in your favorite search engine.)
Linking a sig
If you would like to link your sig to your
home or squad site. Use this code when
placing your image in the signature box.----
